Health & Safety

There will always be some risk involved in any outdoor sports, fly fishing is in itself not a particularly dangerous sport, but by nature of where it is practiced its associated venues can present a higher than average risk.  The activity can be physically demanding in challenging environments with changing conditions. River banks have uneven terrain and fishers will be standing for reasonable lengths of time.

Fishers taking part in any acitivity with TUFF knowingly take full responsibility for their own actions and safety at their own risk.

TUFF has public liability insurance through our extended members package with the Scottish Gamekeepers Association, this however does not cover property and possessions of those taking part in activities.  TUFF flyfishing takes no responsibility for damage or loss of property or possessions.

Those fishers taking part in activity with TUFF flyfishing please download and complete the attached personal disclaimer and return to your guide on the day of fishing.
